Cori’s Pick: Dear Girls by Ali Wong

Comedian Ali Wong has gifted us this book of unfiltered letters to her young daughters and I think we all need to thank her.  Full disclosure: it’s vulgar in places and at times it made me blush, but it’s totally real and I loved it!  She talks about her reality – being a working mom, being Asian American, being a woman in a male-dominated field and she sprinkles in plenty of anecdotes that are laugh out loud funny.  With chapter titles that include How I Trapped Your Father and Bridin’ Dirty, if you’re looking for a heartfelt and hilarious outlet, I give you Dear Girls by Ali Wong.
