Sara’s Pick: Blood Sisters by Jane Corry
Three girls walking to school are involved in a car accident. One is killed, another has permanent debilitating brain damage and the third has become an art teacher. Kitty lives in a home for special needs patients and can’t communicate her thoughts, which are pretty chaotic. She is, however, beginning to remember bits and pieces about the day fifteen years ago when she was injured. Her sister, Alison has become an art teacher and has accepted a part time job to teach art in a minimum security prison. Alison has carried a lot of guilt about the day of the accident, and someone is determined to uncover what actually happened, and who was truly to blame. By the author of My Husband’s Wife.
