Have you ever been so down in the dumps and just didn’t know where to turn? Looking for Lovely has you covered. Annie Downs is a Christian writer who has been through pretty much every negative event you could think of. Between addictions to death to friendship loss this book covers it all. Annie helps you find a way to joy and happiness when you would typically be discouraged and worried. Some topics were relatable and having scripture to go back to look at and read over when negative events do arise is such a nice feeling. I even have a journal broken up into sections with different quotes and scripture for the depressing moments. This book was filled with a ton of inspiration and helped in many ways motivate me to look for the lovely in unlovely situations.
