Dallas’ Pick: Throne of Glass by: Sarah J Maas

This book was chosen by our Teen Book club to read, I personally had never heard of it before then. I am so glad I had the opportunity to read it though. If you like Young Adult books with dark story lines I highly recommend this book! Just because there is a girl on the cover, does not make this a “girly” book. The main character is an assassin and is imprisoned until she is chosen to fight for a chance to be the Kings body guard. During her trials and test to become the Champion, fellow picks are being murdered. The murders consist of the bodies being found with all organs missing. So she has to avoid the murder and attempt to win the competition to stay out of prison. It is very dramatic and filled with action I did not want to put the book down once I started it. Luckily there is a full series to continue reading.
