Linda’s Pick: A Murder in Time (a Kendra Donovan series, #1) by Julie McElwain

Kendra Donovan is an FBI agent who seeks revenge on the person who seriously injured her and mortally wounded a colleague. While attempting an assassination of this person, she accidentally travels from the present day to 1815; a time where women were thought of as helpless and only good for bearing children and maintaining a household. However, her skills as an accomplished FBI agent and her ability to impress those around her come into play when a young girl is murdered. She uses skills not yet known at the time to help solve the crime.

The series, which I have not read yet, will continue in 1815 with the goal of returning to her time. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Other books in the series: A Twist in Time and Caught in Time
