Sara’s Pick: The Question of the Missing Head by E. J. Copperman and Jeff Cohen
Who stole a frozen head from the cryogenics institute? Samuel Hoenig is glad you asked. He answers questions for a living, his Asperger’s syndrome enabling him to take a unique look at other’s problems (as long as they are presented as a question). He solves the mystery, which becomes a murder, and acquires an assistant who is able to cope admirably with his condition. This is a funny and compassionate novel with an engaging character and insights into Asperger’s and its effect on his interactions with others. The first in a series.
