Cori’s Pick:Heaven is Here by Stephanie Nielson
This is a 2013 memoir that I just happen to notice on the shelf at the library and I am so glad I picked it up! It’s the story of Stephanie Nielson (who is also a successful blogger) and the fiery and horrific accident that she and her husband experience. Stephanie recounts their extraordinary story and how humor, optimism and faith allowed them to rebuild their life. This book quickly put my petty day-to-day ‘struggles’ in perspective and left me feeling empowered and optimistic about just how resilient the human body and spirit can be.
